A BSP is a company that gives businesses access to the WhatsApp Business Platform and usually adds tools on top. Meta now uses terms such as Tech Provider and Solution Partner as well, so the same job is described in several ways. What matters is who owns the number and what you pay on top of Meta.

Instant Reply connects your WhatsApp Business account through Meta's Embedded Signup and adds the inbox, AI replies, templates and campaigns. We do not claim a Meta partner tier on this page; check Meta's partner directory if your procurement needs one. You sign in with your own Meta account, so the number and the WhatsApp account stay yours.
Can I switch providers without losing my number?
Often yes, because the number belongs to your Meta business account rather than to the provider. You still need to disconnect from the old provider and meet Meta's requirements for the number, and some setups need the number to leave the WhatsApp Business app first. Check eligibility before you cancel anything.
