Which plan do I need for HubSpot sync?
CRM sync is a Pro plan feature, and the 7-day trial includes it. On Starter and Growth you cannot connect HubSpot until you upgrade. See the pricing page for current plan prices.
The short answer
When Instant Reply turns a conversation into a lead, it looks for a HubSpot contact with the same email, then the same phone number. It updates the match or creates a new contact, and adds a note with the latest message and a link back to the thread. CRM sync needs the Pro plan.

Once Instant Reply treats a conversation as a lead and it appears in the Customers view. After that, the sync runs again as new customer messages arrive, so the record reflects the latest message.
Before it creates anything it searches HubSpot for a contact with the same email, then the same phone number. A match is updated and gets a new note, so a long conversation leaves several notes on one contact. No match means a new contact. Matching is exact, so "+971 50 123 4567" and "0501234567" are different phone values.
Name (split into first and last), email and phone go to the matching contact properties. The source, your customer's latest message, the conversation link and any saved interest or preferences go into a note on the contact. Each field can be switched off or pointed at the note in the mapping screen.
No. The connector is one-way, from Instant Reply to HubSpot. Editing a contact in HubSpot does not change the lead in Instant Reply.
Yes. Each customer card shows the latest sync status for that lead: pending, success or failed. A failed sync does not stop the conversation or the AI reply.
Workspace owners and admins. Members can see leads and their sync status but cannot connect or disconnect a CRM.
