Which plan do I need for Pipedrive sync?
CRM sync is a Pro plan feature, and the 7-day trial includes it. On Starter and Growth you cannot connect Pipedrive until you upgrade. See the pricing page for current plan prices.
The short answer
Instant Reply searches Pipedrive for a person with the lead's email, then phone number. It updates the match or creates a new person, then attaches a note holding the source, the latest message and a link to the conversation. CRM sync needs the Pro plan, which the 7-day trial includes.

Once Instant Reply treats a conversation as a lead and it appears in the Customers view. After that, the sync runs again as new customer messages arrive, so the record reflects the latest message.
Instant Reply searches Pipedrive by email first, then by phone. A match is updated and receives a new note, so a long conversation leaves several notes on one person; otherwise a new person is created.
Name, email and phone go to the person's own fields. The source, the latest customer message, the conversation link and any saved interest or preferences are written into a note attached to that person.
No. It is outbound only. Updates you make in Pipedrive do not come back into the Instant Reply inbox.
The sync for that lead is marked failed and shows on the customer card. The conversation and AI replies carry on as normal; the CRM write is a side effect of lead capture, not part of replying.
